Things to do in Udupi
Udupi offers a relaxed blend of culture, coast, and cuisine. You can visit the historic Sri Krishna Temple, enjoy the calm shores of Malpe or Kapu Beach or explore the heritage museum in nearby Manipal.

Sree Krishna Temple
Sree Krishna Temple in Udupi, founded in the 13th century by Sri Madhvacharya, houses an idol believed to have been worshipped by Rukmini in Dwaraka and later recovered from a sandalwood lump. Its distinctive Navagraha Kindi darshan, along with the rituals and traditions maintained by the Ashta Mathas, gives the temple its status as one of South India’s most cherished Krishna pilgrimage sites.
